Unfortunately, I left the original plug to my charger that came with the Kindle in the rececptacle at the hotel room I was staying out in Canada. I woke up at 3:30 am to go to the bathroom, saw that my Kindle was charged. I thought I removed the complete unit & put the wiring in my bag that I keep it in. Not realizing anything was missing!

When I got home & needed to charge my kindle the plug was not there. I called the hotel and they checked the room, lost & found and did not find the plug. At first I thought that won't be a problem I could charge my Kindle from my tower on my computer. I thought it worked at first, when I tried it again a week or two later it turned out, it only turned on the Kindle but did not charge it. The green light never turned on after a complete of hours, luckily I had this new item.

It should not of come out so easily to begin with for me to have to buy another unit so soon after getting it. It was cheaper to purchase a new replacement power adapter from you then just buy a plug that I could put my usb cable into.
